Bio

As a senior program developer at the Wilder Foundation, Nida is dedicated to advancing two flagship research initiatives, the Minnesota Homeless Study and Minnesota Compass. With her expertise in business development and strategic partnerships, she will be working towards advancing the fundraising efforts for these research initiatives. 

Nida holds an MBA from Carlson School of Management, and another Masters in Sustainable Development Practice. She has a decade of experience in public health space where she has worked on improving health indicators of women and children in Southeast Asian countries. She has also designed and implemented digital health solutions aimed at strengthening last mile service delivery among vulnerable and marginalized population. 

Nida has twice been a Sands Fellowship awardee at Carlson, where she explored social entrepreneurship and fostered projects aimed at expanding career opportunities for Minnesota's youth, with a particular focus on providing culturally relevant resources like Asian Halal food. Additionally, she was awarded a De-Podesta Fellowship, where she collaborated with the ECMC Foundation to create pathways for previously incarcerated and vulnerable youth, helping them build career skills in fields such as supply chain logistics. Her work is grounded in a commitment to using data and storytelling to inform and engage stakeholders.

Beyond her professional role, Nida enjoys hiking, biking to rejuvenate, and has visited more than nine State parks and three national parks since her arrival in Minnesota in 2022. She has two beautiful daughters, Inaaya (10) & Ziqra (5), with whom she enjoys spending her time at museums and art galleries.
