Project Information
Sherburne County
In 2020, Sherburne County was awarded a grant from the Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention for their Family and Caregiver External Support (FACES) program. The FACES program works to expand services to meet the needs of incarcerated parents and their children through parenting education, increasing opportunities for communication between incarcerated parents and their children, and having a trauma advocate present when police are called to a home and may need a crisis-response advocate. Wilder Research evaluated the program to understand its impact and learn from the implementation process.
