Referral Policy

Wilder Center Convening Referral Program Policy

Referral program credits are tied to both the referrer contact name and their associated organization. When referring a new customer, the referring party must ensure that both are mentioned in the booking inquiry.

Referral Discounts and Credits

Upon receipt of a referred event inquiry for a new convening client, the following rewards apply:

  • New Client Discount: The new client will receive a one-time $100 discount on their first auditorium booking. This discount represents 5-10% of the average booking cost, making initial bookings more accessible.

Following a successful referral and full payment of the referred event, the following rewards apply:

  • Referrer Credit: The referrer will receive a $460 credit towards a future auditorium booking (valid for one year), which is equivalent to the minimum cost of booking the C/D sections of the auditorium for four hours. This credit will adjust with future price changes to reflect the current booking cost.
Application of Referral Discount for New Clients

To ensure the proper allocation of discounts, the following guidelines apply:

  • The $100 discount is available exclusively for nonprofit and for-profit rate auditorium bookings.
  • Eligibility will be verified by checking whether the client has an existing account in Wilder's financial system. Only clients without a prior account are eligible, provided they meet all other Wilder Center booking criteria.
Credit Redemption Process
  • Referral credits can only be redeemed for a single auditorium booking (1:1). Multi-date events may utilize up to one referral credit per date.
  • Referral credits cannot be applied to Wilder Partner rate events. These are two separate and mutually exclusive programs.
Credit Expiration and Validity

Referral credits are valid for one year from the date of issuance. The following conditions apply:

  • Events that have been secured through either 50% partial payment or governmental purchase order may extend the event date by up to one additional year, should a date change be required.
  • Credits may also be extended for "Act of God" circumstances, with a maximum extension of one year without additional documentation.
