Wilder Foundation Tours
A variety of Wilder Foundation tours are available for individuals, organizations and corporations interested in learning about the mission and impact of the Wilder Foundation. Tours can be scheduled by calling 651-280-2445.
Current tour opportunities include:
- Wilder Center, located at the corner of Lexington and University Avenue. This tour is designed to present an overview of the ways that Wilder is addressing the needs of the most vulnerable residents of the East Metro. Learn about Wilder’s work with children and families, and how we use research, leadership and convening to expand our impact.
- Wilder Research is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit research and evaluation centers dedicated to the field of human services. Talk with Wilder Research scientists to learn about their most recent projects. Learn about Twin Cities Compass, a new initiative to measure the progress and promote the well-being of our region.
- Wilder’s School Success programs help kids prepare for kindergarten and remove barriers to academic achievement. The highly innovative, Wilder Child Development Center, is a full-day child care and early childhood education program for children ages 16 months to 5 years. The curriculum emphasizes multi-cultural and multi-sensory activities that promote younger children’s readiness for school.
- Wilder’s Community Services for the Elderly Adult Day Health promotes the health and independence of older adults, adults with disabilities, and provides supports to family caregivers. The services and programs are designed to allow older adults to remain active participants in their community and provide resources and guidance to family caregivers.
